Rainheart
Residence
Step into a world where the elegance of the Belle Époque meets modern sophistication. This project transforms an apartment into a timeless haven for our client, Emma Rainheart—a contemporary Marie Antoinette.

Redefined Elegance
At 14-28 Blues Point Road, McMahons Point, the Rainheart Residence showcases a masterclass in contemporary elegance fused with Old World charm.
This reimagined duplex combines crisp whites and bold contrasts, drawing on iconic design influences.
With a Venetian-plaster spiral staircase on a champagne cover and bespoke furnishings, the space is a harmonious blend of sophistication and warmth, making it a standout harbour-side retreat.

The Rainheart Residence project is located at 14-28 Blues Point Rd, McMahons Point, NSW 2060, and involves redesigning an existing duplex apartment to enhance its aesthetic appeal and functionality.
The client envisioned a space inspired by European travels and iconic landmarks, featuring a predominantly white colour palette complemented by bold contrasting hues.
Upon entering the residence, guests are welcomed by a stunning spiral staircase finished in Venetian plaster, topped with a champagne-coloured metal cover and crowned with an oversized paper lamp that creates a striking focal point. Adjacent to the staircase, the dining area features a unique table crafted from three midnight terrazzo blocks, elegantly paired with a vanilla lamp set, adding warmth and character to the space.
In the kitchen, a custom-made marble island offers double storage on each side, seamlessly integrating appliances for a sleek and functional layout. This area is illuminated by a set of Tom Dixon Plane Round Pendants, enhancing the elegance and sophistication of the space.

On the opposite side of the room, a marble-tailored bookshelf with a grid layout serves as an eye-catching backdrop, complemented by a built-in fireplace enveloped in curved bronze laminate, adding contrast and sophistication to the overall design.
The finished project successfully embodies the concept "Kallisti: The Golden Era," drawing inspiration from landmarks such as Holiday House in Rhode Island, Cliveden House in London, and Fairmont Banff Springs in Alberta.
The blend of Baroque and Neo-Classical styles, along with custom joinery, unique furniture pieces, and luxurious marble finishes, creates a timeless and inviting atmosphere.
The design and visualisation of the Rainheart Residence were accomplished using SketchUp for 3D modelling, Enscape for rendering and real-time visualisation, and Illustrator for graphic design and presentation materials.
