The Everheart Studio project, located at 203/317 New Street, Brighton, VIC 3186, transforms an existing studio space into an eclectic, vibrant retreat that mirrors the dynamic personalities and unique tastes of Lisa and Max Everheart.

The clients’ brief focused on creating a space infused with the spirit of New York City’s culture and its extensive collection of travel artefacts. The result is a contemporary yet historical narrative titled "The Unfashionable New Romantics," inspired by the rebellious energy of the Blitz Kids and the elegance of Victorian literature.

Stepping into the studio, visitors are immersed in a setting evocative of a Victorian novel, layered with accents of New York’s Gilded Age. Forest-like wallpaper framed in gold sets a dramatic backdrop, leading to a sleek concrete dining table paired with Philippe Starck’s iconic Ghost Chair in a blue sky finish. Above, two grand crystal chandeliers add a touch of antiquity, casting a refined glow over the space.

Next to the dining area, the living room features a modular sofa in four different finishes, inviting flexibility and playful arrangements. Custom shelving proudly displays the clients' diverse collection of lamps from around the world, described as "a symphony of colours" that brings character and vibrancy to the room.

Moving down black-painted hallways, guests are guided to a bedroom imbued with noir and deep, moody shades that create a serene, almost mystical retreat. The materials here harmonise in contrasting textures, offering a balanced and restful escape from the studio’s livelier spaces.

The visualisations for Everheart Studio were achieved using SketchUp, Enscape, and Illustrator. Programa was the chosen program for the FFE.
